Milestones

It goes so fast. They're a warm bundle that sleeps most of the day, then you blink and they're sleeping through the night in their own room, cutting teeth, laughing and making you wish time would just slow down. Then you blink twice and they're wearing nail polish, speaking more words than you thought anyone could and asking how old they have to be before they can wear mascara like 'mommy'.

Just be little! I wish I could tell my girls to slow down, enjoy being young and taking those wonderful naps every day. Enjoy getting messy when you eat and don't even think about how your outfit looks, you're cute no matter what! Don't be in a hurry to become so independent, I'll let you wear my lipstick....when you're thirty. :)

Just enjoy riding in the stroller and not be so anxious to push it (it's not as much fun as you think it is!), enjoy the bedtime stories and being held by your strong Daddy. I love it when your hair is standing on end, when E talks to her bear bears or when O smiles at me with lovey-dovey eyes.

I love being a mom, and it just goes too fast.

P.s. Livy is cutting her 2nd tooth today, she was dedicated on Sunday by Dad. (see picture) Emma, we think, has spring allergies but is loving the warm weather. Livy has also found her lungs, and they're big. :) I included pictures of the girls when they were each a few days old, can you tell which is which?
