Andy and I finally managed to get away to Boise to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Anniversary Inn (our personal favorite) and enjoyed the time away so much.
We stayed in a "Sea" themed room, hence the seagulls in the background. :)
Late at night, we decided to walk through downtown Boise. So, with our coffee and chai tea in hand, we walked up and down the streets, enjoying the rather quiet atmosphere. We found a man playing his banjo on one particular street corner and stayed to listen for a minute.
We drove past the old train depot where we had our wedding pictures taken five years earlier, that sure brought back memories. Wow, f
ive years, 2 little girls, 4 moves and more give and take pounds than we'd like!! : ) But all in all, we've been so very, very blessed. And I can say with complete 100% certainty that we would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
