Locking doors, charging cell-phones & trash duty!

My g'ness! Hubby is in Council, ID for a three day flooring job and boy do we miss him. With the winter "deadness" to the flooring world, the job is a very welcome one, but it's always so interesting in every life situation, where you don't realize what is with you until it isn't.

Just in the last two days, I've realized that Andy isn't here to lock up the cars and the house every night...Take the trash out, plug my cell phone in for me before bed, wear the girls out with playtime before bed, water the Christmas tree, or start the first pot of coffee. :) Not that I never do those things, but it's little things that are so easily taken for granted.

I got summoned for jury duty last week, crazy enough so did my father! What a trip that would have been to serve together but alas, all I had to do was sign my little card saying "Sorry Charlie, I'm no longer in Oregon!" Dad was contemplating coming to live with us to be able to say the same.

Liv and Emmy were upstairs watching "Toy Story 2" tonight....scratch that, Emma was watching, Liv was intent on bugging Emma. She (Liv) kept poking and touching Emma's hair (something E does not like)....Finally Emma had had enough,
"OLIVIA! I am NOT a toy ok?!"

I busted up.
