Emma will do anything to drag out our bedtime routine, including reversing parenting roles with me....
(Her words tonight)
"Goodnight mom."
(She's shuffling down the hall toward her room like it's a mile long walk)
"Don't forget to turn out all the lights, you can leave the candle going."
(Her steps are labored and painfully slow)
"Please don't forget to send Dad in to give me a kiss and a hug when he gets home...."
(She blows kiss after kiss to me, then sighs)
"Don't forget to go potty and take your pills"
