I am SO vindicated!
I did NOT forget to start the drier, the drier wasn't working!
Ha!
I told Andy the funny things it had been doing and he took some things apart and found that the last tenants hadn't cleaned the wall section of the drier hose. It was so backed up, no air was moving anymore, hence un-dry clothes.
One less blonde moment for my father (or husband!) to remind me of. :-)
On a side note, I've been teasing Andy that his work shirt is beginning to look like an army general's....Fridays is big on gold pins to mark work benchmarks.....Anyway, a few nights ago we were comparing our "work" nights, and I decided that moms should get gold pins for excellent work. Our "decorations" are more likely to be given in the form of messy kisses, sticky fingerprints on our clothes, and in my case, many many hair barrettes at once....Very distinguishing.
Well, if I had to pick, I'd take the messy, sticky kisses over the gold pins.
