Just some recent "funnies" from E & O.
Emma has trained Olivia to come and give her little fanny a push when Emma gets stuck somewhere while riding her new bike. I watched this happen again and again tonight. Olivia is so easily persuaded, she does whatever Emma asks.

While watching a family movie the other day, Emma turns up to us out of the blue and says "Heyyy! I need a little brother to go with my little sister!"
---------------------------------------
Before starting school the other day, Emma stopped me before we started to say the pledge with "Mom, hold on, I need to get situated first."
---School note, we're learned about human bodies this fall and I wonder if anyone knows where I can find one of those "put together skeletons" for kids??---

Emma became frustrated a few times this week with her sister (at least the few I'm going to write about...) and came up with a new "threat" for us. "Ok then, I'm just not going to speak for 11 days." Don't know why the number 11 is relevant in her mind, but Andy and I just couldn't help laughing about it later in bed thinking 'how often do your kids make a threat that you really hope they follow through on?'

Last wednesday, on the drive to church, I heard sweet little Liv say from the back seat "Mom! Look at me!" I turn around thinking she's going to blow me a kiss or something and I see her face smiling as her hands are outstreatched on either side and her eyes are focusing on the middle of her face.......Where, her BLANKET is somehow attached to the inside of her nose and hanging there by itself. She was so proud. I was so grossed out.
And so goes the parenting part of our lives.....
