Emma loves to learn, her mind is a sponge. And yet it is her mother who is learning the most this year, the hard way. Learning when to push and when to play, when to move forward, and when to step back.
Taking the advice of a wise ol' pair of veterans, I am stepping back to look over how Emma learns with new eyes. What is best for her, and what can wait a year. (Sigh)
The last thing I want to do is discourage her, and more and more I am well aware of the fact that her tender heart full of emotions rides on her parent's approval and pride in her.
My studies continue.....
