( Never mind there are hundreds of foods I dislike)
No....This one is quite essential. This is my favorite contribution to Thanksgiving meals, one bite and I'm back as a little girl waking up on Thanksgiving morning to the smell of turkey. Aaron and I would rise early to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a tradition I still carry on with my daughters.
Pumpkin pie is synonymous with spices, fall leaves, sweaters and family gatherings. The smell of nutmeg and cinnamon, pumpkins decorating your porch and this year, a new fall experiment for us....We're going to make bird feeders from carved out squashes next week with the girls. We'll post pictures!
Go make a pie!

I love the smell of pumpkin pie and i love to bake it.. but sadly.. i just don't like to eat it! :)
I couldn't agree with you more! It wouldn't be thanksgiving without pumpkin pie! Or the watching pre-parade dances in your pajames at 5 in the morning!
I love pumpkin roll, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bread, but pumpkin pie is so mushy! So I opt for apple pie instead. I agree though, fall is a great time of year! I just wish ours here in CA was a bit more chilly!
