All the Memories

I get into moods. Cleaning and organizing moods. Is there a name for the polar opposite of a pack-rat? That would be me. That's not to say that I can't be sentimental, but I dislike clutter, with a passion. I can be fairly brutal, unless the object holds very special memories for me.

My baby clothes are one area of my life t
hat does not apply to my normal personality. :) I've held on to a lot of the girls' clothes and shoes.....Especially the outfits in which "firsts" occured. Walking, talking, smiling, laughing.

And then there are the hats. Emma wore more than Olivia, and I didn't keep them all, but hats are very dear to my heart. Having winter babies almost necessitates the use of hats, but for me, there were full of personality and now memories.
Sometimes I take out what I call the girls' memory boxes and I hold their going-home outfits, their tiny shoes and headbands.....I can't do it for long or I'll be in baby la-la land for the rest of the day.

So for this round of sorting and organizing, the piles were simple. To grow into for Emma, and one for Liv, special memory clothes to save, past Christmas dresses, a box of cute outfits to lend to friends and the last box to take to the SBC

Where does the time go....
