Heart Full of Christmas -continued-

....Another love of the Christmas season.

Delivering baked goods. 

We make caramel corn every year. No, not crunchy, dry Dairy Queen caramel corn. I'm talking about soft, chewy, melt-in-your-mouth "Aunt Emma's Caramel Corn" (so named by us last year). My recipe card has been scribbled and re-written many times. I feel like I have it down to a science after trying almost every type of brown sugar, corn syrup, popcorn kernels, butter etc.

We made our first round of deliveries last week, with many more to come next week once we get past the events of this weekend.

This year, it was all about watching the girls carefully carrying the packages, ringing the doorbell and then giggling till someone came to the door. "EARLY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!" They shouted. Next week we'll work on not running off the second it's in the receiver's hands....they were so anxious to deliver to the next location. :)
