Aaron sang for our wedding in 2002
Aaron & I at my wedding...He was so young!I've known Aaron for 22 years. Can't remember what I thought of him at first, I know growing up we had the love/hate thing going on. Too proud to admit that we needed each other, too stinkin' lonely when the other would go somewhere. Lots of forts were made in our backyard, plenty of snowdays together....We were experts at getting the giggles at night.
Later in our teen years, I tried to care about listening to how much money he was making in his lawnmowing business and he in return somehow kept a half-serious face while I gushed about "Andy".
Not sure when it hit me, but there was a turning point for my "annoying little brother" who suddenly....Ok, wrong word, slowly....turning into a funny, witty, kind and very likable guy, who I wanted as a friend.
Now, in our present stages in life, Aaron plays with my daughters, stops by to shoot the breeze and we now talk about how much money the IRS takes at the end of the year. Haha. Yes, life is different, and I love it.
22 years later, and I wish my brother and my friend an amazing Birthday today.
