Emma's Latest Deep Thoughts
(Last Sunday, on our way to church, Andy and I were talking about how one of Alyssa's friends broke her leg, remember Emma broke hers when she was 1 1/2)
"Mom? I can help Skeyler with her broken leg, I know what doctors do."
"Really Em? What would you do?"
"Well, I'd try to screw it back in, then if I had trouble, I go find a parent, that's what doctors do."
"Oh wow, that sounds smart."
(Andy and I are busting up at this point)
"Mom, we better tell everybody about this, it's so funny."
And tonight...
(I left the girls upstairs to take the vacuum downstairs, after a minute, Liv noticed I was gone and began to cry "mama")
Emma: "Liv, she already went down, I'm all you've got." (WORD FOR WORD)
Yes, Emma will be running in the next presidential election.
In the mean time, pray for us to keep pace. :)
