The Latest on our Crazy Daisies

Finally, nice enough weather to have ice-cream cones out on the porch. Em and Liv had Sherbert for the first time today and sat to chat while they made sticky messes.

Story #1 "Mom's Heart Attack" As we made it home from groceries (Always a huge chore without Andy) I set the girls down to walk inside by themselves while I carried bags in. They made it inside just fine and played at the bottom of the stairs while I put the first load of groceries away. As I came back down, the door was still open and Emma was crying "Olivia, get BACK HERE!" I race down to find Olivia standing in the middle of the ROAD. Here's where I get to use my brand new terminology, Livy got a Spug. (Spug=Spank/Hug) My heart may still be off a skip or two.

Story #2 "3 is the new 10"Fast forward to this evening (Andy still being at work). Girls take their bath, with a little salon-fun at Livy's expense. After bathtime, I call my Grandma who lives in Minnesota. Liv is asleep, and Emma is playing "Blue's Clues" on the computer. All the sudden, while I'm on the phone, I hear music coming from the computer that is definitely not from Blue's Clues. I look across the room to Emma and she gives me an immediate smile of "Hi mom, sure hope this is ok for me to be doing this, if not, I'm already thinking of an excuse but I'll keep smiling at you till I do."
I quickly wrap up my phone call and come check on the computer...Emma has exited out of her game, opened a new window of Google's homepage, typed her name into the "Search" box, hit enter, clicked on the first link it brought up and was watching a music video by "Emma So-n-So."

Remember that funny joke that went around a few years back about some 3 year old using his mom's credit card on Ebay.....Yeah, not so funny.

She also deleted all of my e-mail messages in my inbox as she was "cleaning."

And what does she want to be right now? A Chimney Sweep.

Ok, that's pretty scary about Livvy going into the road! Did she understand that it was a "no-no?" Samara thinks it's funny when I discipline her so we've had to resort to tougher methods. :-(
Not fun for mommy.
Why on earth does Emma want to be a chimmney sweep? A story she read? hehe!

Dawn,
Hopefully Livy understood how upset I was about the road thing, I didn't let go of her for a long time but I was VERY stern.
Emma watched Mary Poppins last month, I'm positive that's where the career choice came from. :) Right now I guess it sounds like more fun than what mom or dad do. ;)
