Our aparment complex had a luau today. Gave us girls a good excuse to run to the dollar store for grass skirts & leis!
Emma had SO much fun, she ran under the limbo stick like it might jump out and bite her, and Liv only fell into the pool twice. :) Speaking of, another little boy really did fall in, and in the deep end no less. Bless his heart he was walking while looking up at a bird in the sky and wasn't watching where he was going. His mom screamed and dove in after him, he had a good 3-5 second start before she got to him and you could tell she was in 100% mommy mode. My heart went out to her when I saw her grab something from under the water in her pocket and throw it onto the cement...It was an iphone! :( Bummer deal.
I won some sort of MP3/video player though so that's neat, I'll have to wait till Andy gets home tonight to figure out what it really is.
We're attempting a camping trip next week. Hoping upon hope that we have good weather. We've had an incredible amount of rain, cloudy skies and high winds for June. We've been in the 50s and 60s instead of 80s and 90s! Which means the mountains around us are still getting below freezing at night and yes, we're tenting. Oh man oh man. Andy might be forgetting that he has three girly girls in his family. :) No, we'll be fine, we're all dying to be out in nature, I know we'll put up with the cold to do it. We did buy a space heater. :)
