Happy Birthday

I'm an hour early in anticipation of my mom's birthday....

Happy Birthday mom!

I spent a little time looking through my pictures tonight and found these of you with the girls.
They remind me of such happy memories. You were there for both of their births, and walked thru both pregnancies as my best friend (apart from Andrew of course) beforehand.

Sweet moments. And since those precious times, they've grown older....And with it, has come trying times along with the good. Which reminds me, that maybe, just
maybe I may have put you through similar trying years in my own childhood. All the training, all the dilligence to instruct, to mentor and admonish, to love unconditionally and to model Christ to all of us kids.

God has blessed that effort mom. As you celebrate your 48th birthday, you can look back and see the blessing and faithfulness of the Lord. It's represented in your ministry, in your family, in your granddaughters.....Not perfection, just the steady grace of the Lord.

I will hope to repeat this message to you, every year, until we're both old women.....Or, the Lord can come and get us and we'll celebrate in Heaven. :)
