In the Course of My Day

Search high and low for the best price on big, honkin' truck tires. 

Needful before making the trek to SD. 

Filling bags for each of the girls to take along in the car. 

Markers, Coloring Books & stickers (check)

New (to them) books from the thrift store (check)

DVD player and Veggie Tales DVDS (check)

Magnetic "dress me up" packets (check)

Print resumes, gather medical charts to bring with, fill prescriptions before we leave town.

Prepare two cars and four people for a 4 day car trip. Lots of food to buy, lots of hours to fill with activities for the girls, lots of time alone with my thoughts of all we've just left. Lots to process.

And then when I take a moment to breathe is when it hits me. I'll have to deal with the emotions of this move at some point. It won't escape me forever, yet it's too easy to be busy enough to shove it aside. 

My next step is to find hotels along the way, seaching for any fun historical or educational-valued stops we should make as we go....And also, the reminder to watch my sibblings, talk with my parents, pray with my friends.....Enjoy the now that the Lord has still provided.
