Life Stats

  • We've been "homeless" for about 3 weeks. It's actually gone fast.
  • Andy sold his motorcycle, that was a blessing to have happen before we leave.
  • We had a wonderful Mother's Day! Andy made a terrific lunch of salmon and halibut with my favorite dessert, rhubarb custard. My family showered me with cards, a beautiful flower and a massage gift certificate. We went to the park and had a really nice family time. I felt so loved.
  • Our rental search is stalled. Apparently landlords in Watertown, SD don't own digital cameras. It's amazing how many people have no available photos of their property. We've done sight-unseen before, never again.
  • Andy has 2 weeks left at work before he heads across the country. Please pray for his safety. It's a long solo drive.
  • I am getting anxious to resume our schedules and routines. To get out my dishes, and be able to look at my shoes in a closet. For now, I am so greatful to my folks for letting us crash their huge house....It's been a chaotic, loud houseful but I wouldn't have it any other way for now.....I can't begin to tell how much we'll miss them, it would hurt too much.
