Cards & Thank-You Notes

Thank you
to those who sent us Christmas cards, pictures and letters! Since we just got home this morning, I finally put them all up on our Card Tree and it was SUCH a blessing to see such beautiful faces from all over the country of people that we love so much.

Sorry if this sounds just a tad on the soap-box side of conversing, but I have a true desire to know where the art of writing Thank-You Notes has gone to?
Growing up, that was our first order of business after each birthday and Christmas. We would make a list of all our gifts and the giver, and it was actually part of our school morning, to write a personalized message to that dear someone and let them know you received the gift and are using it/love it etc.

This is not a wide generalization, there ARE people I know who are faithful thank-you note givers....and if I sent you a Christmas gift, do not immediately write me a note....This is not a message to you, this is a thought process I've had for some time. :) I just wish more young people were taught to take the time to think of others.

Having said that, we are backed up on our thank-yous! Haha. (enter the imperfect complainer) Ugh, when Liv's b-day, Christmas, and my b-day are so close together...it takes us till about February to dig out of thank-yous. Especially since Emma and Liv tend to have a LOT to say in theirs!!!
