Amazing how a cup of coffee and a shower can make you go from 0 to 60 ( I settle for "Grandma-ish 25" some mornings). My husband likes strong coffee, so do I.

Here's the dilemma....Coffee already takes a nice little chunk of money out of our weekly grocery budget. Adding extra beans to each pot is one way to achieve that rich, delicious taste, but Andy ingeniously (if you've already thought it up, don't tell him) came up with a NEW idea to make our morning pot a bit more stout, and it's 20x's more cost effective.

We now use TWO coffee filters each morning. How much do filters run...Perhaps $2.99 for 300-400?? That's a far cry cheaper than

parting with more of your precious $7.99 a lb coffee. The extra coffee filter keeps the water mixing with the beans for a little extra time, hence producing a stronger taste!
