Our first REAL family hike.
We all agree, it'll be one of our most special memories.
What I'll remember:
Liam, being purposed in heart and mind on getting at least 1 rock to his mouth.
Livy, not being able to stay dry crossing the creeks to save her life.
Emma, watching her curious spirit unleashed in true "wilderness".
Andy, LOVING the rough road in his 4 wheel drive truck.
(Livy said it was better than a Disneyland ride..)
The girls squealing and giggling as they waded in the pool below the falls.
Watching Olivia, huge smile in place, slide down a steep hillside on her bottom, what we named "The Dirt Slide" (Emma then followed but with quite a different outcome).
Andy, who confessed once we were back in the truck, that he'd fully expected to arrive at the bottom of the steep hillside on his face after loosing his footing, so thankful the girls didn't have to see that. :)
Andy and I, smiling at each other during our picnic, knowing that family memories don't come any more perfect.
