Movin' On Up!

Tonight marked the opening night for CC Boise's Awana. My kids are Awana lovers, as are we the parents for this scripture-based program.

I agreed during the summer to teach Puggles. They were desperate. I was a sucker. :)

I've decided something. No, it is not solely based on the fact that I had TWENTY-SEVEN 2 yr olds in my Puggles class tonight (but that certainly helped me come to this conclusion).

I've decided....I'm movin' on up.

I'll fulfill my commitments to Puggles and to Homeschool Co-op preschoolers, but as of next year, I really want to be with my older kids. I'm anxious to dip my toes into teaching some drama for Emma's age group, listen to older kids recite their memory verses and talk with them about real life. I taught 2nd grade Sunday school over the summer and LOVED it!

Don't get me wrong, I've loved every stage but after 7 years of mostly helping in nursery/toddler classes and settings. I'm ready to make the jump.

Oh, and you accomplish nothing with 27 two year olds. :)
