Thank Your Man

I saw a post on Facebook decrying the strength of men....
It spoke of how women MUST be "stronger". Why, we carry babies, walk in heels and can make dinner while we talk on the phone.
Uh, ok.

Most men are occupational (thanks for that tip early on Dad). They thrive on providing, on being good at what they do on a daily basis, on being needed.

It takes no skill or wisdom to point out another's flaws, any fool can do that. It takes grace and conscious effort to focus on your spouse's strengths and gifts.

I'll tell you this. I couldn't carry the load Andy carries for our family. He carries the responsibility of our family with love and strength and passion.

If your husband is hard-working (i.e. leaving for work even when they feel like heading back to bed with a cold *Thanks Drew!!*), faithful and stedfast, then THANK THEM and God for them today.

It's more precious than you realize and it shouldn't be ignored or forgotten.

Oh, another thing most men thrive on....The praise of their wives. Truly ladies, remember part of their hearts are still young and wanting to impress, show them you are!
