His clinic, which is affiliated with Osteoarthritis Centers of America, and is one of 5 privately owned clinics, belonging to a fellowship, just named Andy's clinic director, the new CEO!
This private investment group is planning to open 5-6 new clinics very soon across Oregon and Idaho and Andy's Meridian clinic has been named the official training center. In other words, they are becoming the "flag ship" or practicing model if you will for the new clinics that will be opening and the 4 other current clinics. (Apparently, there's huge profitability in the aging knees of America :))
As you can imagine, the clinic is buzzing and quite excited. We'll know more about what changes this could bring, but the next clinic is set for Portland, Oregon. One scenario would be that Andy is asked to go and work for this clinic till it establishes it's PT staff, in that case, our family could be looking at a fun little-long Portland time. :) (talking weeks here, not months)
For now, the news is an early Christmas present for Meridian OACA clinic.
