How do you dance?
Emma lately has become a jitterbug. Her favorite dance moves resemble something that could be labeled "no shame...or talent". But it delights her to skip around the room with one hand in the air, eyes closed and spin tight circles. For different music, she dances differently....It's always entertaining. What if adults reacted to life in a similar way, with such unchecked delight in the moment that we would hop around the room, hands held above our head, if we felt like it. :)
I'm feeling a bit of cabin fever, anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE to be in my home, with my girls, but winter is dragging on a bit long. (I know, I know, it's only January) I'm anxious for spring cleaning, weeding the strawberry patch, watching Emma swing in the backyard. Anything to get us out in the fresh air.
Emma and I washed Livy's hair this morning in the kitchen sink. She adores having her hair washed and was just a riot to watch as her eyes darted back and forth and her arms flailed around in delight. We gave her the cutest little Mohawk if only for one minute. : )
