My children are not exempt in their efforts to seek justice when the other does wrong....
But a new concept was introduced into our home recently and with it, the highly annoying
"I'm TELLING!" (something I truly can't stand)
Though I haven't heard the girls repeat it themselves yet, the concept is happening repeatedly. Tattle-telling. We had a very long talk about it yesterday with all the girls (including those I babysit).
I'd love to hear from some veteran moms. How did you deal with this problem? How did you explain the problem? In our case, the introduction (from one of the little girls I watch) is completely linked to manipulation. A quick, loud "I'm telling" will get the other person to stop what they're doing for fear of being ratted on. Ugh.
