Any of you that read the title and thought I was gonna say that we're pregnant, can just forget about it. (for now)
I was putting away mounds of heavy school books and piles upon piles of school papers, all belonging to my beloved.
Suddenly, I came upon a particular group of papers from his Sociology course. On one such paper, what I found at the bottom made me bust up laughing....
Here it comes Drew, I'm about to throw you under the bus.
(GASP)
Not only did he hate that class (but still got an A), he was apparently playing a game of HANGMAN with someone during the class, but it was his phrase that just got me right at my funny bone.
"David Donald Doo dreamed a dozen donuts and a duckdog too."
(By the way, whoever he played with was hung before guessing correctly)
If you're a parent, or at least had Dr. Suess as a part of your childhood, you'll recognize this line.
That is the epitomy of a TRUE DADDY who's bored out of his mind during sociology. He's studying subjects that take a true math/science oriented mind....and yet he's still stuck with children's books running through his head. :)
Hahaha, I'm sure it was the one and only time he didn't pay attention. ;)
