Only Livy

My Livy girl keeps us on our toes. Excitement runs through her mind constantly.
Her attention is easily shifted by the spinning world around her.
She loves new adventures, pink ruffles and one of her very favorite things, is to take her bucket of princesses to a quiet corner of the
house and get lost in her own world of make-believe.

Yesterday I had to laugh at her, mostly to keep from crying at the dramatic excitement she possesses when calling for me.

The same "MOM!!!" can either be a call for help to aid a bleeding sister, hanging upside down from a tree, but most likely the very same urgent screech is because her favorite
song just came on the radio.

It's always a toss up.

Livy keeps us young. I love her passion and thrill for life.

If you've ever seen the movie Despicable Me, you might remember the character of the youngest orphan. It could seriously be Livy's animated twin. The movie scene where she gets the fluffy unicorn from the fair and can't contain her excitement...I've seen that played out in real life with Olivia.

Eyes wide, smile to crack a face, little body shaking with joy...."I'm soooooo happy....I'm soooo excited....I just CAN'T STAND IT!!!!!!" 20 minutes straight while jumping up and down in a Goodwill store after finding a .50 cent toy. (My sister Alyssa can attest to this account)

Perhaps today you can learn from a little 4 year old who never misses a chance to wear a dress and twirl, and just enjoy what's in front of you.
(But for the sake of all those around you, use different voice inflection depending on your reason for yelling...It really helps.)
