We've had company from South Dakota this week so my Sunday post is a bit late, and may be cut short depending on how long math takes Emma to complete. :)
I didn't make it to any yard sales this weekend, but I DID have a 'first', a shopping trip for the sole purpose of what I had coupons for. (Yes, I did stop by the clearance section too)
I didn't want to take the time to go find my receipt this morning for the exact amounts, but the gist of the trip was roughly $17 for what is pictured and I saved about $42. I didn't take a picture of the 6 bags of potting soil that I got for .99 cents a bag.
I'm still not into extreme couponing, I don't give the process
more than 1-2 hours of my time per week, but I DO like the benefits I'm seeing.
Check back next Sunday for more Shopping to Save pics/stories.
Yard Sale Tip: If you want to be among the "liked" yard-salers, carry small currency. $1's and $5's. Nothing is more frustrating than a 'customer' clearing you out of change with a $50 or $100 dollar bill in the first 20 minutes of your sale.
