I'm seeing a pattern...I think I've had guacamole for lunch every day this week. :) I've been too focused on breakfast and dinner to care much about lunch.
Paleo = DISHES.Just in case my post yesterday was seeming a bit too "on top of things" (I did make a dessert after all). I thought I'd also add a photo of my kitchen sink after my day of cooking. Oh, you can't see it? That's because I couldn't either.
I don't think you can really escape it. You pretty much make absolutely anything from scratch. (Andy and I have already discussed how cooking in bulk and freezing will be absolutely essential for the school year)
Q. Where do people go out to eat when they're eating Paleo style? Anyone?! Let me re-phrase, DO people go out to eat when eating Paleo?
Today DID have good points too. :)
I made a Paleo Pot Roast that was a bit of work, but super delicious for dinner. That was served with garden green beans and red potatoes mashed with almond milk (really good!)
We also made our 2nd batch of homemade popsicles. These were made with watermelon, blueberries, raspberries and mango. Finding fun alternatives for the kids was a priority for Andy, who wanted the kids to be involved in our lifestyle change and focused on the positives.
Happy side note- Tomorrow we're having the carpets cleaned! Yay!! It was the perfect week to have coffee, a hamburger, popsicle and more spilled on the rugs! :D The house looks like it did when we first moved in.
