Crazy Monday

Talk about life happening all at once. Andy's new job is exciting, but it's a new job and that entails a lot of training and "learning the ropes".....

Today was also orientation for school. $$$ for books, $$$$$$ for a laptop (required). Whew.

Orientation itself went well! Andy is really looking forward to his courses, we're just a bit trepedatious about how our schedule will look for the next season of life.

Then, we had some bad news today. It looks like the pickup's exhaust manifold is....I don't even know. Shot? Blown? Broken? Every mechanic we spoke with today was anything but encouraging. We need the pickup for winter, but $$ is not in abundance with school expenses so we're gonna pray! As a wise woman said today, God didn't bring us all the way across the country, opening all these incredible doors only to now say "Oh man! The pickup is broken? Well THAT is too big for me." :)
