Mom's Birthday today.
Everyone jokes about how young mom looks, and it's true! She looks incredibly young for having kids in their mid 20s!
She won't be thrilled with the picture of her and I, since it was taken after a very long day of Women's Retreat and teaching for her, but I love it! :)
My mother has spent the last 25 years of her life being "mom", the last 31 years being "wife", the last 20-21 years being "the pastor's wife", the last 26-27 years being a follower of Christ and 49 (oops! I said it) years being an incredible, loving, gracious and amazing woman.
Many know my mom as their piano teacher, their pastor's wife, Women's Ministry leader, their budget saver, Bible Study teacher, neighbor and friend.
She's mom to me. She's also my best friend.
(I always exclude my husband from this, he's always #1)
And I wish her the Happiest Birthday, even from across the country, as we celebrate 49 years of faithfulness and grace of the Lord with our mom.
