Vacation Bible School began this morning.
Emma was ready with her backpack, her lunch, waterbottle and her "boarding pass"
(the theme is airplanes)
She was only too delighted to show her "boarding pass", walk through the "terminal" and find her room.
No tears, no 2nd thoughts, just a quick wave and blown kiss back to mom as she walked away. Is she really that old? Can she really need me so little?
Bittersweet day.

Your little girl is blooming! And to think we were all concerned that the big move would cause her to crumble! Ha, ha...God knew! It's wonderful to have the technology to share in their lives, even a little bit! :-)
baby girls will always need their mommies! somedays we just have to prove to them we can do it on our own..but we always know where mom is to run home too :)
