I never tire of watching my kids.
They are so very different, blessed with different gifts and personalities. They see life through very different eyes.
The other morning was a great exampl
e of their differences, even in play time.
Liv is relational. She thrives o
n family-closeness, comfort and security. She is not needy for friends, and mor
e often than not will entertain herself as long as I am near. She loves
little people of all shapes and sizes and she creates in her mind elaborate, creative make-believe stories for them all. Olivia is in no hurry to grow up and would much rather leave school alone till it is absolutely necessary. :) I don't plan to push her. She will be my colorful, creative, fun-loving and alway
s my cuddlebug.
Emma is goal oriented, passionate to learn, achieve, grow and conquer!
Emma is a thinker, she can fathom concepts that baffle us. Her love for her family is fierce and she delights in pleasing us which is a very daunting and humbling effect. Her tender heart is something I cherish.
As her Grandma rightly made note of, Emma even attempts to boss God around. I fear she may learn some lessons through great trial and error of testing her own ability to do all, but I see an enormous passion in her to BE what she believe God wants her to do and be already which brings no end of pride to my heart.
He (Jesus) said to them " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Mark 10:14

Aaron and I were JUST talking about Emma's passion and what an awesome trait that is! We also talked about how irresistable Liv is! Both so different...both so special!!! Both times Emma came over when you were here, she wanted to help. She helped me through to the end on one of my most time consuming appetizers to make... faithfully poking every shrimp just in the right spot with a toothpick. :) The next time she wanted to help sweep (and she counted all the mirrors in the house). When Liv comes over she wants to cuddle in a chair and watch a movie (And a cookie wouldn't hurt either). SOOO cute! Love those girls! :)
