Paint, paint, PAINT!

Our new house is hospital, stark white. EVERYWHERE. :)

I thought I could do white walls in our last house for 1 1/2 years. I barely made it out alive. That was even after painting the kids' rooms and the family room.

Mom is trying to be a voice of reason to me right now, reminding me that more than likely this house will be even of shorter duration for us, which I DO hear, but I just delight in a colored home. It makes it home to me 10x's faster.

This is the off-white/semi-tan color I'd like for the living room.

For Liam, I think I'll do a soft grey on the top half of his walls (there's a
white trim
running half way up the walls) and I'll leave the bottom white. AHhh! I have a little boy's room!! What a blessing it is to say that. I'm so in love my little man.

The girls of course chose pale pink which will work out great. I want to stay with muted tones so that it's hopefully pleasing to anyone else after us.

I love looking at paint samples and I'm not afraid of color so I usually 'go for it' and reflect later. Haha.

Pictures in 3 wks! We paint Feb. 10-11th.
