Prayer

One of the blessings of being the body of Christ as believers,
is holding each other up in prayer,

The family on my heart tonight has been a part of my life for over 8 years.
I met Becky at Bible College in Southern California when we were both just kids.

Amazingly, we've kept in close touch and our address books must now hold many, many changes of address for each other. It's one of those friendships that lasts even despite the hundreds (or thousands) of miles inbetween.

Becky's father received hard, hard news last week. He's been diagnosed with an aggressive (I'm assuming since it's spread already out of the region) liver cancer. Rebecca lives in CA, the rest of her family in Florida. She flew home to be with her Dad before a large surgery just 2 days ago. Becky's entire family are believers and have THE HOPE. But they are in need of prayers for:
peace that passes the understanding of circumstances,
for wisdom in medical decisions
and for the ability to steward this chapter in their lives well that the Lord has allowed.

I truly have tried to imagine myself in their shoes and my brain does a disconnect, I'm very close to my Dad as I know Becky is....as much as I want to take away her awful pain, I humbly MUST say that I've seen my God work incredibly through pain....The very thing we ask to be removed in our lives.

I ask readers, that you lift up this beautiful family of 6. Pray as the Lord leads you and please let me know if you yourself have a prayer request...I'd be honored to pray for you.
