Even the most devoted, loving marriages will encounter turmoil and pain. Most likely caused by each other. It's human nature. The harder couples try to appear as though they have it all together in perfect, harmonious love, the more I tend to think it's a cover.
As Andy and I were talking about this the other night,
he said something that's been on my mind ever since.
I was asking if he really believed that the hardships couples face, the fragmented hurts and pain, if when weathered, truly make the couple stronger... Or, do they become weaknesses that grow into cracks, eventually leading to the downfall of the marriage.
He said, "They will be whatever the couple allows them to be.
THEY will allow the hardships to consume their marriage in pain or let the Lord use it to shape it into something strong."
I had to think about that. It's true.
What are you choosing today?

So true Nellie, we are not victims of random circumstance, but rather our circumstances serve to reveal what or WHO we truly believe!
I love the diaper cake! SO CUTE! Did you wrap the diapers in fabric?
