2 "near disasters" and roughly 5 trips to Home Depot and....
Well, we're ALMOST complete. The glider that we bought isn't quite long enough, so once we buy the right length of chains then phase one will be complete.
(Baby swing: $32 at Home Depot, spent $6 on "last year's model". Glider: $90 brand new, spent $10 on Craigslist)
This swing set/fort is an experiment. No plans or designs except those that we've thought up. (Draft paper, Walgreens, $2.69)
Andy's plans for the 3 level fort (Coming next summer) are quite grade, but I have full confidence in his ability. We've made quite a partnership out of this little project. Now the game is on....just how LITTLE can we spend on a quality play set, and how MUCH can Andy build with limited tools. :) Craigslist is our friend, and so far, we've saved about $200 dollars on what we would have spent going out and purchasing a swing set.
The handsome handyman.
