Mint.com

It's been a good little chunk of time since we had a working budget due to the lack of steady money. Our budget during school was more or less "spend as little as possible and pay all bills". That doesn't really take a spreadsheet to figure out. :)

My financially-savvy brother turned us on to mint.com.
If it tells you anything, we stayed up till around midnight last night getting our new account set up and we ENJOYED it!

For those who's first thought is "Managing my accounts online?? Is that safe?" mint.com is read-only for one thing, it's also produced by the same company as Turbo Tax and the makers of Quicken.

I love the ability through mint.com to not only see instantaneous withdraws from our accounts, (or budget categories) but the ability to make "goals" which show you exactly what percentage you've reached and when you'll get there at the rate of saving you're accomplishing. FUN!!

There's my plug.

We love Mint.com! It helps us keep everything so neat and orderly, especially with the several bank accounts, etc. that we have. I also love that we can keep track of student loans and everything right there.
