Things change with time...
Relationships and marriages should grow and mature.
During those butterfly-filled dating years, love is expressed in so many ways. Usually all very mushy. (Or as my younger sister would say "Gaggy")
During the first few marriage years, it changes yet again....but remains truly heartfelt.
Then you enter those family-making, baby-toddler years, where your free time disipates, your imagination seems to shrink from exhaustion, but thankfully, the love remains.
7 years later, better than roses, or long poetic verses, better than expensive jewelry or flashy trips......Is a husband who knows his wife and thinks of her during the day to bring home these treasures......
A terriyaki bowl I'd been craving, my favorite pop, music to my sweet-tooth and the cutest little rose in a mug. I am rich.
