To Create

I love creating.
By decorating my home, making it a sanctuary for my family and I.

By page layout design,
to capture memories and create for ministry.

By organizing and planning to create structure for my family.
And on a very amature level, in my spare time, I really enjoy making simple cakes. Or more appropriately, I love decorating cakes. :) It's a simple hobby.
Here's some of my past cakes.  I would love to see some of your homemade cakes! I'm always ready for new ideas!

I made a "slumber party" cake one time when i was working in the bakery... it would be totally cute for one of your girls first slumber party birhtdays! On the top of a cake (mine was rectangle).. you place twinkies (as many as you want to make into little girls) and then cover the twinkies with frosting and create a blanket over 3/4 of the cake with colored frosting (i used an airbrush-but could be done with color) and the top 1/4 looks like a sheet, so that the little twinkies look like little girls all bundled in bed.. create a "pillow" with a blob of frosting, then place a nilla waffer cookie on the pillow at the top of the twinkie.. add face, hair, etc.. i totally decorated up the "bed" with pink and purple flowers to be a fun little bed! I didn't get a picture but this was for sure my most favorite cake ever!

I think your cakes are AWESOME! It takes so much time and detail to create one of those, and that I can truly appreciate! I love, love, LOVE the hat cake! Absolutely adorable!
