You may be thinking, hmm....how many more does she have to post?! :)
Well, I won't go on too much longer. I'm enjoying the walk through memory lane.
My next memory is from 2004
What do I remember from V-Day '04?
We couldn't stop smiling.
We'd found out 4 days earlier that we were pregnant with Emma. We'd been anxiously hoping and the thought of being parents was keeping us on a complete cloud.
Our getaway was a romantic, quiet one. We ran up to Cascade, Idaho to the Ashley Inn. A very romantic spot up in the mountains. Andy had reserved their "bridal suite" which was complete with rose petals gracing the bed, a large jetted tub and fire place. It was so sweet. We stayed up late and talked baby talk....About all the adventures we were soon to have and all the wonderful memories we would make with our little family. Andy wanted to keep feeling my stomach, not quite grasping rationally that our baby girl was the size of a speck of dust. :)
I remember writing in the room guest book all about it. Haha. I'm sure the next person staying in the room got a good chuckle from my gabbering about a baby, but I didn't care, I wanted the world to know how happy we were.
And Emma Grace, "All Embracing Grace", born Oct. 15th 2004, was indeed, a priceless reminder of our love and our gracious Heavenly Father who longs to give us good gifts.
