Health Care Reform

No matter what side of the coin you find yourself on, no one can deny that America is truly torn over the issue. And rightfully so, it's being pushed, parroted, and conveyed in such opposing terms and ideas that one is left to think "Are they talking about the same bill?"

Politics is not my forte so I rarely weigh in on the issues, knowing my knowledge is limited.

America's system of health care has definite issues that are indisputable. America also was founded on personal freedoms. Is a solution to a problem still viable, even if it revokes a personal freedom
"for the good of the many?".

I enjoy the freedom to home school my daughter. To worship my God and King freely and publicly. I do not welcome more government control, I do not welcome being forced to pay for insurance. I do not welcome the approach this bill took as it was being passed, it was certainly not presented before the people in it's ENTIRETY as was promised. Yes, I see this move as a socialistic one. I also see America setting the stage to break ally allegiances with Israel. If you know your Biblical end times, the nations will rise up against Israel, but the Lord himself will fight for her. Against Israel is not where we want to be.

Having said all, I live in America. I am American. I am thankful for the opportunities and freedoms I STILL have. But above patriotism, my allegiance is to the Lord, and his calling.

My hope, is in Jesus Christ and Him alone. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His ability to rule and remain on the throne was not moved one iota by yesterday's vote. Nor is he thwarted by America's decisions. He will reign forever, He will receive all the glory, and one day every knee WILL bow before the maker
of Heaven and Earth.

Come what may in world news, far above the issues of the day,
I see Jesus, seated on the throne.
May we be ready for your coming Lord.

It is a great comfort to know that God is in control no matter what. When I lose sight of that it is really easy to get freaked out by what's going on in the world. I am rarely well informed when it comes to politics as well. :) I liked this post!
