Emma started her first month of Pizza Hut's Book-It program. That program I'm quite sure has been around since the dinosaurs. :) She finished her WEEKLY goal in about 30 minutes.
I could wait for her to literally scream "challenge me mom" or I could start picking up on signals. It's such a fine line for me, determining how much to push her, and when to let her decide what she can handle...She's self-motivated and self-driven, very sensitive to pleasing us. The LAST thing I want to do is pressure her when she does that all on her own. Her little spirit for learning blesses me.

Baby news:
Nada. :)
Walking helps bring on contractions but nothing over the top. 5 days till that last, sweet ultrasound and our Dr. "pow-wow" to learn what the next 3 weeks will hold.
I've truly made a conscious effort to NOT complain, whether it be about pain or exhaustion or anything else (ok, I have whimpered to my mother)...unless I'm just sharing about life facts. This is all temporary. Our internet-charged world makes it WAY too easy to do the 'look at me, look at ME, listen to MY discomfort (every 3 hrs).' I will note (factually) that my wardrobe of shirts that can fit the "basketball" are steadily decreasing and so will my public outings. :)
Livy and I love to sort and re-sort our baby clothes. She'll be my baby stylista.
