My daily plans as of late are not long and daunting, rather they're small and humble.
Accomplishing a full school morning is to be celebrated, making a meal or two is a bonus and anything else?
Pure icing on the cake.
Remember the season...those of you who are parents?
It's none other than those last 1-2 weeks before baby arrives.
Today, we almost accomplished all of our school list (minus 10 spelling words) and added a birthday chocolate cake and a batch of homemade caramel corn. Oh, and met my love at the mall during his small 1 hr break between classes and work to help him buy a new pair of slacks.
That was my marathon today. :)
Seasons like these are short and all I have to do is look in the faces of my almost 6 yr old and 4 yr old daughters to know it to be true, an inescapable fact. Emma has already spent 1/3rd of her "at home" years with us. I despise that thought and yet it keeps finding me.
Want to know a secret?
This little man has 2 special names that we love almost equally and yet for the life of us can't say with 100% certainty....THAT'S the name. There's a front-runner for sure but I'm pretty anxious to see what happens on his birthday. I'm not worried, I've already told his Daddy that he gets the final say, it's on his shoulders.
Fun, fun! :)
