It's our human nature to be focused on ourselves.
Especially when we have a struggle of any size (and I mean ANY size).
The end of pregnancy is one such season where almost minute by minute, your body is screaming out for attention, for sympathy and relief.
Friends of ours found out today that their first little girl, born Monday not able to breath on her own, has severe brain damage to the back, sides and stem of the brain. The news was about as bad as could be. How do you begin to put yourself in their shoes.
You can't.
But I can take those insignificant thoughts of self-pity and put them to much better use in prayer for Greg, Natalie & baby Cailey.
I've been praying for nothing but the Lord's will for baby Cailey...whether that be healing or a short time on earth, and all surpassing peace for her parents who are believers and who have already shown amazing strength through Jesus.
This little one hasn't escaped the eyes of the Maker of the stars.

Praying for that little angel girl. So sad but so amazing to see how god is working he takes the hardest situations and uses them for his glory.
Also praying for you my friend that your little man comes soon and quickly and painlessly.
