Frightful Weather, but the Coffee is Delightful

I sincerely wish I could have titled it, "the FIRE is delightful". I grew up with a fireplace, a real one, and I miss it very much.

Liam was up about 6:15am this morning and after eating, had that super cute "drunk baby" attitude going. Andy was pulling smile after smile out of him.

We all snuggled into our bed and watched the beautiful snowfall outside.

Can't believe our Oregon family beat us with snow by a day. Although, we almost always beat them in low temps. Today, our HIGH is 17 degrees, low of 6 and the "feel-like" temp is always lower.

I just heard my girls wake up. They are completely precious in the morning. Sharing a room, whichever wakes up first always wakes up the other and they begin their morning with little girl chatter on any number of subjects. After that, I start hearing them play with their princesses, or dolls or reading books to each other. Most mornings, it takes a full hour after they wake for them to emerge from their bedroom.

The Daddy of our family is starting to feel the time crunch coming. We're praying for him....He has 3 1/2 wks left of this semester including some intense finals, our large furniture to pack (in the snow) and then after his cross-country road trip with two little girls....He has to kiss us all goodbye for 6 wks. THAT's the clincher right there. It's leaving his baby and 3 chicks. We prayed through all possible choices for this winter season, and this one still makes the most sense, but we're one family that absolutely hates being apart. He WILL be flying out to see us over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend.

Liam has been dubbed with a new nickname "Piglet". He grunts more than any baby we've ever heard, and it's adorable, as only parents could think so. Haha, he just did it again from his bed!
