Did any of you ever try counting sheep when you couldn't sleep? It never seemed to bring sleep on any faster for me, but yet here I am tonight, in a similar fashion, counting my blessings when I'm tempted to focus on the "issues" of the day.
1. THANK YOU to the beautiful, thoughtful and caring people in our lives who have offered to help with this move. Your offers of a meal, watching our kids, cleaning and moving have meant the world to us.
2. By this time tomorrow, I should be sitting in my home. What a thought. I won't be on the blog since internet won't be there yet, and I may not be in my own bed, but we'll be together as a family in our new home. That's something to be positive about.
3. Hazelnut coffee purchased by the love of my life, just because he knows I love flavored coffee.
4. My girls' creative minds that filled the gap today when all their toys are packed.
5. Our weekend camping trip (pictures coming). It was hard work, but very rewarding. Liam's first camping trip. :)
If you read this in the next few days, I would covet your prayers to cover our family through this week. Andy has had a pressure headache for 2 days now, Livy is having some not-so-fun health issues and Liam is, believe it or not, working on molars already. We have an over the top busy day tomorrow with the move and our van broke some belt tonight needed for power steering. I could list 5 more things from today, but those I would be blessed to have prayer for.
Goodnight blog readers, tomorrow is a new day.
