I heard the best analogy today when I confessed that sometimes I tire of people asking the vague question "What homeschool curriculum do you use?"
(I'm not talking about in-depth conversations....I'm talking spur of the moment, especially when I feel it's in place of their own true research)
Analogy: That's like asking me "What type of a husband did you get?" You obviously can't have the exact same one so go take the time to find what's best for YOU! :)
**Disclaimer**
I NEVER tire of talking with people about homeschooling options and choices, nor would I want to discourage true questions. What tends to grate on me is the flippancy some treat the questions with....As though they may just take what you say and go try it instead of truly seeking answers. More of the "give me the 5 minute run-down of what you do, never mind it takes up 70% of your life."
