We love books in our family.
We have many bookshelves, in all rooms of our home.
Our two little girls are imaginative readers.
By accident, some of our favorite children's books were left out in our backyard overnight. They were there this morning when we woke up, still sitting on the quilt (also left out), under the birch tree. The scene looked so quaint, but the sprinklers had been on during the night.
Of all the children's books we own, these were some of my favorites. We lost almost all of our Laura Numeroff books (If You Give a Pig a Pancake, If You Give a Moose a Muffin etc). We even had an autographed copy that was a Christmas gift from their California cousins one year.
The hair dryer didn't help much, we all learned a lesson, but it was a hard one. :(
