A Choice to Sing...

"But I trust in your unfailing love;

my heart rejoices in your salvation,

I will sing to the Lord, for he has been good to me."

Psalm 13:5-6

My thoughts are so jumbled tonight. We have two very different paths laid out in front of us right now, with all the pressures of life to attend to during it all. And yet, the Lord blessed me with quiet children today who seemed to sense I needed more thinking time than normal. Olivia wanted a lot of extra cuddling time and Emma busied herself....Most of the time.

I want to be ready and willing to go wherever, when the Lord says "it's time", but I hold on to foolish things. I gain stability from what's around me, in my life-long quest to find my sole strength in Jesus.

So, tonight, I will pray, I will read and tell Him how I feel. And I will be anxious for the morning and the celebration of a long-awaited baby and share joy with my sister in law. And I will sing to the Lord, for He has been good to me. ALWAYS.
